I am not 100% raw so didn't think I would be detoxing, altho I am eating ALOT better then my vegan junk food diet. I have had constant back pain for about 2 weeks now, even after chiro and massage, thinking it was related to something outa wack. Does this sound like a detox symptom? I did a search and found nothing so maybe I have some other thing going on.
Also my usual insomnia is worse and feeling irritated and very PMSy all the time, which does seem like a detox, but didn't think muscle pain would be a detox symptom.
thanks for any thoughts

Is it a dull pain or a shooting pain in a specific area? Cause if it's the latter, could be a pinched nerve, which tends to take a while to get rid of.

As far as the headaches I know those are all part of detox. I have been getting severe ones for a month or so now. I try to breath through them and understand why I am having them. That is easier said then done.

I am starting to think my headaches are just hunger and low blood sugar headaches, if food doesn't take them away I have to take some pain meds, I can't deal with anymore pain.

Hi,
Headaches are usually caused by being dehydrated. As far as back pains - are you doing anything new in the movement area?

not moving much at all when i did that post, i was so weak and dizzy. I went back to old eating ways and started moving again so I guess just the lying around did it.

It very well could have something to do with either kidneys or intestines detoxing. The bladder channel (acupuncture) runs down both sides of spine and the kidney point is just under the ribs near the spine. I know just going off coffee causes the acheness in the low back for me.

I did go off coffee and someone had blogged my blog about going off wheat did that for them and I did that too. I guess i just didn't think muscle pain could be related to food. If that IS the case I am very much into getting this stuff outa my system as I am in constant pain most days in muscles and joints and of course no doctor has any clue what it is.

Oh, yeah food can definately cause muscle pain. There are many people who had chronic shoulder pain, back pain, etcc.. that completely goes away after changing their diet. Even if you just look at the meridian system. Toxins causing blocks in the Chi.
