Well I decided to embark on this journey. I had emailed Angela Stokes about feasting and going to school she emailed me back and told me I would be fine. She said David Rain juice feast when he has a projects going on or needs to concentrate. She gave the example of him writing two books at once while he was feasting.
Today was day one for me. I drunk a liter and a half. I need to drink more but I am a little tired and will be heading to bed soon. Today I had:

Kale, cucumber,spinach,celery
I did sweeten the juice with one apple.
I have a headache at the moment and my mouth is dry. I need more water.
God give me strength. I hope to accomplish with this feast/fast is a closer realtionship with God, get over my food addictions and craving for alcohol.
I do have more accomplishments that I hope to succeed but I will not bore you with the details.

YEAH! Good for you! I am going to do this as soon as I get my juicer but I think I am going to go for 70 days. Just my own number of choosing. :)

Here is another web site blogging the feast: http://www.juicyraw.com

Blessings and shalom on your raw and juicy journey.

I am so intrigued by this. I would LOVE to do this but ironically, I have the same issues to trying it as I did going raw.... I thought it would be too hard ~ it actually makes going raw seem easy LOL :D AHHH! I'm scared but I feel like diving in!

Chailife I have read Deb's blog and even emailed her. I was pleasntly surprise when I saw her email this morning. What a wonderful woman. I am glad to have met her....well through email.

Justinesmith...come on you can do it!! We are all here for you.

I woke up really tired this morning. I went to bed around 8pm. I didn't think I would be as tired. I took senna tea yesterday afternoon hoping it would work soon....nope nothing. I hope it does not plan on working when I get to work.

Good Morning. I hope all is well with everyone. I am on day 3. I am a little groggy this morning otherwise all is well. I don't have any major detox systems yet. Yesterday I did have a headache but nothing major. Juice for yesterday was 1 liter of carrot, apple, spinach celery. Also I had 1/2 liter of celery, kale, spinach, cucmbers with one apple to sweeten a little bit.
I went and brought some ginger and yam to juice. I learned about that from Rawcutter's thread. I brought some jojoba oil to help restore elasticity while I lose weight. Also brought a dry brush...that ought to be interesting.
I got on my knees to pray for strength during this journey. I am really excited about it. Just 89 more days to go!!:D

Aww... thanks Kelly & Michele!

Michele, you are almost over the hump. Are you hungry? How are the temptations? This has actually been easier for me than eating raw. Go figure.

Hey... I'm only about 2 hours from you. In fact, we were in Greensboro two weeks ago to visit my aunt. She's in a nursing home there on Wireless Dr.

Keep going! Gets easier every single day.

I have had no desire to drink any juice. I have been drinking mostly water. I did have 1/2 liter of green juice. I need to do better with this. I still have hunger pains. During my past fast the hunger pains never really seem to go away.
Yesterday at my son's tae kwon do testing I had to run to the restroom. It was kind of bad.
My son is now a high white belt..woohoo!! I am so proud of him. I told him yesterday he will be going 50% raw. That should be no problem with him he loves fruits and veggies.

All is well in my world. I am a little tired. I only had about 5 hours of sleep last night. After I came home from school I had to study a little bit so I didn't get to bed until after 11pm.
Yesterday morning I woke up with a lot of cold in my eyes. I guess that's detox. I did drink about a liter yesterday. Still trying to get at least a gallon a day.

I know, I know. I just can't seem to get more than a liter and a half a day. I do drink a lot of water though. I will try to do better.

I am on day 15. I felt really bad for a few minutes yesterday. I ran out of juice and I had not had time to make any before I went to work. So I thought I would just drink water and tea. I was so nauseas. I almost had to double over in a trash can. It was like my stomach was turning inside out. It was not a pleasent feeling.
I did make juice last night so I am good to go. I made a juice recipe I saw on a juice feasting group Angela posted.
'5000 volts'

Celery

Garlic

Red pepper

Hot pepper

Orange Juice

When I tasted it last night...woozah!! It's 5000 volts alright. I might have put too much hot pepper.
I hope all is well with everyone.

All is well. This feast has been so much better than my last fast. The reason being I am juicing my juices. The last fast I drunk store brought. I don't recomend that. I made a juice that kind of tasted like chocolate milk but I have no idea what the ingredients were. I did taste the kale in it.
Well I'm off to work. I hope everyone is doing well.

HI Chailife how is it going so far? All is well here just very, very tired. I wish I did not have to go to school in the evenings. I would rather come home from work and go straight to bed.
I am at a stand still with my weight the last couple of days. That really ticks me off. I don't know what my body id doing.
I hope everyone is doing well.

don't worry. it's just healing other things or gathering enough energy to release a bunch of fat/toxins/crud. Just keep going. Don't let the scale discourage you. There are so many other parts to VIBRANT health, than just pounds. You body maybe fixing your eyes, or healing an old wound, or purging your liver of toxins, etc.

I am in uncharted territory. I have never went over 30 days with a fast before. This is very fascinating. I can't wait to see how I feel in 30 more days.
My son's Tae Kwon Do school had a cook out today. It was kind of hard being around that food. It did smell good. I held strong. I've come to far to ruin it with a lousy hot dog.

Hi Sparkle!
I am new to this and haven't made the big leap into raw yet (even though I joined this site a long time ago-wanted info on juicing) but I just wanted to tell you how much your journey has inspired me. I'm planning on doing a fast and then starting my own raw transformation. Following your progress has given me alot of insight and has made me very excited to get started.

I commend you on your strenghth and determination. Keep up the good work!

PS Your son is sure a cutie!

Hey Sparkle! It's been fun just now to read your thread here. How great to be going into the unknown of a 30+ day fast! Wow, I'm impressed. What a journey it must be! You have inspired me. I'm on day 2 of a juice fast. The longest I've ever gone is 4 days.

I have not made any juice in days. I've been drinking naked and bolthouse. I have tons of veggies in my fridge waiting to be juiced. I just have not had anytime. I really need to juice. I miss it.
Sarah I have been having good energy. I was up until 4:30 am this Saturday studying. Then I got up at 10am Sunday for church.
Moncha,Moncha congrats on your juice feast/fast journey. Just take one day at a time.:)
Meancat Let me know when you start we are all here for you.

Here is my son making his fave raw snack...banana, almond butter and agave.
It's funny he could not say the word "Transitioning "

Thank you Sparkle. I really appreciate that--I think I'm gonna need alot of help! (lol nervously). I'm really stressing about having to give up my coffee of all things.

Loved the video--thanks again!

Also--good luck to everyone else on their fasting too!

I'm at 41 days now. I've decided to stop at 50 days. It is becoming very taxing mentally and physically right now. I can't seem to get in the recommended gallon of juices.
I have so much going on right now. I run 5 days a week and I am exhausted.
I am planning to juice feast at least 1-2 days a week every week and eat 80%raw.

Thanks for all the words of encouragement.

Hi Sparkle

Congrats on your progress. I think 41 days is amazing!! I know you'll make it to 50!

Sparkle, I was reading your blog and something you said kinda hit home with me and I was wondering if I could email you and ask for some advice?

Thanks
