I just found out about this board from Helen last night! I did a google search, so Helen if you read this, don't worry about e-mailing me the link!!!
I thought I'd introduce myslef! I'm also from Tennessee and it's crazy how we live in such a small world!!! I've been going to the same church as Helen of Tennessee for 3 years and never knew it! HAHAHA!
I've been tracking my progress of trying to go raw on my xanga site www.xanga.com/raeannasun
So far, I've lost a bunch of weight but I'm struggling to be 100% raw. I was excited when I saw the 30 day challenge! I'm going to start that today (since it's Monday) and see how I can do!!! For me, it's not hard to eat 100% raw, it's just hard to turn down my favorite comfort foods. I decided last night that I'm going to follow Victoria Boushenko's (sp?) advice and REMOVE the temptations from my house!!! So after I get off the computer I'm heading down to the kitchen to do a "Kitchen Fling Boogie!" :)
I'm excited to meet all of you from Nashville! Helen has said wonderful things about you all!!! I couldn't make the Potluck this weekend because I was with my elementary choir at a festival downtown.
Thanks for all the support you all give on this board! I'm looking forward to reading more!

So glad you found this. I did e-mail you a link to here, but it must have, or it is taking its sweet time going through cyber space to reach you :D
I went and read your personal journal and you're doing a great job!!!!! I hope you are the big loser at school. That would be great to win $250 in addition to feeling better!!!!
It was so good to finally meet you. I just remembered someone else who does the Hallelujah Diet from our church - Pastor Steve & Niki Witt. I think we should be able to round up enough people that we could start a Hallelujah/raw food support group.
I see you're going to do the 30-Day challenge on this board. I'm going to have to get serious. I'm going to try to do a 30 day challenge. 15 days is my record, which was last January. Maybe I can do better this time, since I'll probably be seeing you and seeing you making great progress. I'll start my journal tomorrow - April 26.

It is nice to have someone to partner with that you can see -huh? Welcome, welcome. You seem to be enjoying yourself and I can here the music in your words.
You will get support here and the recipes are great. Is your husband raw?

I wish he was!!! I'm taking Victoria Boutenko's advice and I'm just going to wait and have him watch the changes in me!!! He likes to eat what I make but I'm sure he won't give up meat if I say anything about it. So, I'll just be patient and wait and hope that he'll be better in his eating habits!

What could be more rewarding than seeing and witnessing your children living a blessed life?! I don't think there's much more a mom could ask for------thank you so much for being such a blessing to me, not only because you're my daughter, but by your choices to love others. I can be encouraged to live and be a better person because you are an awesome example--- keep shining my girl!!!!
I love you;

Just wanted to welcome you to the group here. I don't spend much time online these days as I used to, but you will find a wealth of information here, tons of support and a just a great group of people.
It's so nice to meet another Nashvillian. I had no clue there were so many health conscious people here in Middle Tennessee!!
I emailed you with a link to the raw nashville group. Helen may have already provided that information, nonetheless, I look forward to meeting you.
Have a rawesome day and best wishes with your challenge!

RaeAnna beat both of us. I went over to MeetUp and she already signed up as a member.
Hopefully the 2 of you will meet at one of the raw food potlucks. I'm looking forward to meeting RaeAnna's mom, Shari, who posted above.
There's going to be a big movement here in Middle Tennessee. A movement of HEALTHY PEOPLE!!!!! Yea!!!!
