im slowly but surely losing weight and looking better on raw but i have one problem right now. because i eat a much greater volume of food and fiber eating raw, my midsection is almost always distended. i think i have less fat on my midsection but it doesnt really look all that smaller because its always kinda bloated from the bulk of my food. does this problem go away eventually after eating raw for a while? my moderately severe bloat and constipation are clearing up as i take probiotics and my body gets used to to the additional fiber but i want my waist back.

I get bloated or have a severely distended belly when I dont follow proper food combining. The longer I've been raw, the more sensitive I am to poor food combinations.
When I'm not going through a digestive crisis, I think my "normal" distended belly is because I'm not fully detoxed yet. I've only been raw since April versus a cooked diet for years. Eventually I will go on a juice fast and get a colonic.

Like barose when I don't pay enough attention to my food combining I get bloated & gassy. Its almost like someone is blowing up a balloon in my stomach. Another unpleasant side effect when I get the bloat is I get the "toots". As soon as I get that bloated feeling I pay more attention to food combining principals and it solves the problem for me.
how can i find out more about the food combing principles? I also have the "balloon" in my belly, but I have no idea on how to combine the foods to help this problem. I was hoping it was just something that would eventually level out once my body became accustomed to being 100% raw...cja

when eating cooked i didnt experience this so much bc there was a lot less volume and fiber and water in the food.
