Hi

Iam 38 years old male who is seeking for some advice to help me put on more weight. Iam thin boned would say average built but would like to know what the best raw food receipt I could use to help me put on more weight. I have only gone onto raw food for 2 weeks now must say its amazing how eating this way you begin to see the results so quick .

For many years I have tried to learn and took other peoples advice what to eat to help me put on weight was so confusing I gave up and eat healthy my own way, but it has not worked. It was my sister who introduce me to this website, and it was as if the light bulb came on..thinking his may have some answers to my problem.

I have to say it has helped improve my prayer life tremendously and to stay healthy for a long time. I understand most of this raw food is bibical( I took time out doing some research from the bible and understood why some of the men of old lived so long. it was fresh herbs and healthy diet..none of this drug firms experiments we have today)

So here Iam eating raw fruit and veg and because Iam new to this raw food industry , I wanted to know what is the best recipet I could use to help me put on weight...any one have any ideas or advice?

God bless you

Avocados are nutritional and may help you put on weight. Make guacamole by adding tomato and extras like onion, cilantro, salt with a little lime or lemon juice. Blend avos with fruits to make puddings or to other veggies to make spreads or dips. Coconut and coconut oil etc. can help you put on weight. Olives and olive oil are good too.

I agree, focus more on the greens especially, and some fats, as opposed to (lots of) fruits. But everyone's different, there are also some raw food bodybuilders who eat lots of fruit. Besides your diet, you may also need to do some excercise, like weight lifting or something else. I know that there are some people out there who needed to gain weight in a healthy manner, and did so on a raw diet. Try to google it up, or use the banana search button on this thread.

Some type of Strength Building is your best bet and adequate amounts of food to satisfy, not to gain, but to satisfy your bodily needs.

Some people gain with higher fat and some actually lose, but being active is required. No matter what, you MUST be active if you want the long term results you desire.

Strength Building can be anything from Ashtanga yoga to shovelling dirt to weights to bodyweight exercises to blah, blah, blah.

The Nature's First Law Family published a book years ago called RAW POWER it's all about muscle building and how to stay strong, fit, and 100% Raw. I think it's by Steve Arlin. Check it out, it may help answer some of your questions.

I have that e-book also and to me it comes across more of a pep talk than an actual "what to do" I thought. Some of the other e-books I thought were pretty good. Better deal to buy the whole lot of em for sure :)
