does anybody know where I can find these. I've search everywhere.

and I'm talking about olives that have not been cured yet, really raw olives. I guess they would call the fresh olives.

I want to cure my own.

I think the season is coming up for harvest so they should start showing up somewhere

Yes, RC, the season is coming.

I find them the best in the Italian supermarkets, if you have an Italian part of town or Italian type grocery store/produce store. By the case. They weren't that expensive either, on the underside of $20 for a good sized crate.

You basically cure them in salt brine to remove the bitter and toxic elements. You should either slice into them or slightly crush them first.

Then if you're me, you put a bunch of chili peppers in with them too, a little garlic and herbs, and ooh la la!!
