I thought I posted this a week ago but I can't find the thread... I want to buy some raw chocolate bars, but Shazzie's are like $8 per bar and in the UK. I'd much rather buy from a trusted raw vegan chocolate producer somewhere in the US, preferably on the west coast. Would anyone who's ordered raw chocolate candy bars please list out the sites they used? I want to feel this energy boost people talk about with raw chocolate food.

Remember, I don't want beans or recipes or powder, I just want the final products. Like Larabars, but raw chocolate!

shazzie and david wolfe sell naked chocolate which is also around 10 bucks a bar. its reeally good though, and if you think about it, all the coconut oil and crazy ingredients that go into it, they arent exactlyh making a killing. plus they get their ingredients in bulk whereas we dont so it could be just as expensive, or a little less or more , but either way buying saves a lot of time and maybe even money.

Where do you find raw chocolate at Whole Foods? I went there last week and they thought I was crazy asking for "raw chocolate".

It really is more cost effective to make your own if you can...they're expensive no matter where you buy them already made.

Goraw sells them but they are anything but cheap. And I don't think they ship until the colder weather hits.

I make my own raw chocolate all the time and its delicious and a heck of a lot cheaper and so easy too.

Nevermind. I misread. I thought you were asking for just raw food bars...Wild Oats and Whole Foods does have raw food bars, with chocolate, but not exclusively raw chocolate bars

I've seen the chocolate variety of Lara bars at Costco for about $20 for a box of 18. My Costco sells the Lara bars in a box of the regular or a box of the chocolate. I haven't tried the chocolate ones yet. I bet they sell those at Whole Foods though if you just want to try them before you get a bunch.

Does anyone perhaps have a decent recipe for raw chocolate bars? One that doesn't involve dates, and perhaps tastes like the sort that I used to know and love?

(A mini hijack, these aren't to purchase premade, but to make your own as the last few posts have been asking about)

First, the naked chocolate recipes are more involved, with superfoods and such, the second is a quick and easy basic raw chocolate recipe :D
