I was wondering if there are any particular raw foods that are rich in natural hormones? I have been adding fennel seed to my salads, as I heard fennel has natural hormones that are good for women. Does anyone know of others?
Renee Loux Underkoffler (Living Cuisine) says:
"Flaxseeds are rich in lignans, hormonelike substances that are known to balance hormone levels in the body."
I've eaten lots of flax since going raw, and the raw diet is generally good at balancing. Maca is also supposed to be beneficial to hormone levels, but I haven't had experience with this.

Maca is a great source of hormones. Seeds are great sources, especially hemp seeds. The Young coconut and coconut oil have hormones. Algae and bee pollen are great sources of hormones. Berries also have high hormone levels, especially goji berries.
