With a failed batch of Wilted Kale salad. Now I must stress, I have made this recipe before and it was divine. I still don't know what went wrong this time around but it was inedible. And of course I was starving hungry, I didn't have a back up plan for dinner. I ended up devouring a cucumber whole and two handfuls of cashews. Very weird little raw vegan piggy session!

You know it really is true, you have to have a plan on this diet. This is an extremely conscious eating style and if you're hungry you better have a few choices on hand to EAT. I myself have decided to focus more on raw salads/yummy salad dressings for dinner during the work week. I'll do my playful kitchen experiments on the weekend when I can fully devote myself to them....

Any favorite dinner recipes to donate to a demoralized raw chef? xoxoxo Em

You are so right. For me, eating raw is: One day at a time, one meal at a time and you better have a plan!

Even w/the wilted, failed recipe - I've been known to throw a failed recipe into my green smoothies. I waste nuthing!!! That's what I do too. Spend more time on the weekends and during the week keep it simpler.

Did you forget to rinse the salted Kale?

I know that would definitely make the salad inedible -


Put the wilted/salted kale in a collender and rinse - then squeeze dry :) THEN mix in the tomatoes, hemp seeds and dressing Mmmm
