I washed my hair and usually there is a lot of gray around my temples but this time it seemed to be going away.
I was putting a washable dye on my hair to darken it up but now i just use a toothbrush to cover the area which has gotten smaller.
And my hair is growing where it was thinning:D
I've started oil pulling along with being raw and yesterday i asked my husband if he noticed that my hair has darken up and he said that he had noticed:)
I am so happy about this.

Cool. I hope my grays go away too. I'm too young to have so many. You give me hope!

I'm also taking the liquid kelp and i sprinkle brewer's yeast on just about everything and sometime when i can remember i also take wheat germ.
I don't know what got me to this point i'm just so glad to be here.
I've heard that some women like gray hair but i can do without it:)
Here's to feeling and looking young FOREVER!!!!!!

How long have you been on raw foods Bethanie? That's so cool your hair is changing color and getting more plentiful. Mine is so thin and gray, although I've notice lately it is downright sparkling. It's really wonderful. Lovin' this way of eating.

I have been pretty much raw since the beginning of july...and started oil pulling last week
just in the last few days I've noticed a big change in my hair, thickness, softness etc....maybe the oil????

Thats funny, you said your hair is sparkling. My gray was sparkling before it started darkening up slightly.
I've been high raw this time for about 6 months, this is our 5th attempt:) at staying raw and now i think we staying with it.
My husband is eleven years younger than me so i really want to look young and stay young.
It funny because he has a little bit of gray in his beard, no much and he shaved it off and he looked so young, i asked him to grow it back but now i feel that in a couple of months he can get rid of it all together:D
My hair had been thin in the back for a long, long time and i couldn't get it to grow but now it's feeling in and i'm so glad about it, i really want long hair:)
I believe that by next year my hair will be fuller and thicker and longer:D
Are you high raw too?

Wow, that's great. I didn't start sprouting grays until AFTER I went raw. I was only 24 :( I still have them and I'm hoping that once I get back to being 100% raw they'll go back to my natural color. Although they are kind of fascinating. Mine are a shimmery silver. It's weird to have like almost 2 feet of dark brownish auburn hair, then have an inch or two where it just drops to being totally silver near the roots. Its only like...i'd guess fewer than 10 strands. It's still interesting, though.

when we go raw.
I love the changes that i'm seeing and feeling:)
With all the cancer and heart disease going around i'm overjoyed that i've chosen this way of eating and living:)
I hope to overcome all the bad habits of my past and go onto a much better future.

Awesome! I am hoping for the same results. I am only 32 and I have A LOT of gray and I color my hair. I know that's not the healthiest, but I don't want to look like I'm that old.
That is encouragement, thanks!

Not with the kelp, brewer's yeast, wheat germ and doing oil pulling i just brush a little bit of washable hair dye over the little bit of gray around the temple and front sides and it looks natural.
My hair has darkened so much that it looks odd to me:D but i'm getting use to it real fast:)
I've always wanted long hair and if this keeps up i should have it down my back.
