I am starting my 5th week of being raw. Before going raw, I did a 15 day liquid fast (Master Cleanse). So far I have lost 25 lbs, in less than 2 months.
My friend (who is also raw with me) told me last night that I may plateau and to not be alarmed.
I have read the book, (not all of the testimonies yet) but I do not recall anyone plateauing.
I need to lose 166 lbs - I am hoping to have the weight off by August of 2008 - which will be 1 year and a month from my starting point.
Am I being unreasonable?
Should I expect to stop losing weight?
My weight loss was not successful in the past because I was doing the wrong things. Also I have PCOS which I know can hinder rapid weight loss.
I have been a Vegan for over 4 years which helped my condition, but I do not want the weightless to completely stop.

Can someone provide guidance:confused:

I would say don't expect to plateau....the last thing needed is negative energy in the air! Everyone is different, and you'll probably lose weight like the wind.
Don't set dates or schedules for weight loss, just focus on exercise, positivity, and eating 100% raw! Focus on your body and when you're hungry, full, and go live life :)

There are several raw blogs around here from people who were severely obese, who lost over 100+ pounds on raw...I'm not sure of the time frame, but hopefully others can give you some info and some blog links :)

Thank You!
I am moving to another state on Saturday -so I think I am stressing about everything!!
I will remain positive about this!!
I can't believe I already lost 25 lbs in less than 2 months!!
Once my digital camera is fixed, I will post my photos!

See?! 25 pounds in 2 months is fantastic! At this wonderful rate, why even bother thinking about if you'll plateau?

I'd love to see the pictures! <3
