When I started this diet last monday, I was going to the bathroom, no prob within 15 minutes of having a green smoothie. Now on days 6 and 7, not so much. But a lot of non smelly gas..... What may be the issue?

Your body is cleansing and adapting. Its normal. Lots of us got really bloated before we got the non-smelly gas and took pro-biotics.

Intestinal flora and fauna at your local HFS. Most of us coming from a SAD diet and antibiotics in our history, are low on the little critters that naturally inhabit our intestine to aid in digestion. Many of us are also low on stomach acid due to long-term dietary habits as well as ingestion of pharmaceutical type heart-burn products. I have read that there is much controversy regarding how much of the product that you buy is truly active and it is an area where the consumer could easily get taken advantage of. I advise a google search to build up your confidence before buying unless you trust someone at your local HFS to steer you in the right direction. I am not up to date on it.
Oh, I did read somewhere in all this controversy that the missing flora and fauna cannot really be replaced - that one can supplement but once one stops - so does the benefit. It is really hard keeping track of all these opinions and developments. But for immediate relief that is what I was advised to do, I did it, and I don't do it anymore.

Actually since I read that this happens before, I got excited when it first happened!!!! Call me crazy for getting excited about something like that. :D

ahh this was happening to me too. I found out after looking and asking around that green smoothies have so much fiber in them that you body must have more water-tons more-in order to move it through. (Think cement) Plus I agree with the whole adjustment time theory too.
Anyway, I upped my water and drank a cup of senna tea each night. Sometimes once more in the morning. Now there's no problem.
Oh and one more thing! Oil-add oil to your smoothie-I use coconut oil 1T and I also add a couple of spoons of flax.
Good luck!

I added cocunut oil yeterday, still nothing... This is day 8, I been drinking water, now I feel heavy and sluggish & sleepy... I didn't have a green smoothie today, just water and a spinach salad with hummus...

For me personally, fat does not go well with fruit. It causes digestive problems and gas. I don't put any fats in my smoothies since they are half fruit. In fact, since I live primarily off of green smoothies, I try not to consume much fat in general.
Some people say that when the digestive tract is clean, the body will produce the intestinal flora that it needs. This makes sense to me.
