I've got some dehulled sunflower seeds and always eat them like that.
Is it really better to soak them (removing inhibitors) or isn't that necessary at all? And for how long do they have to be soaked?
Also, is it possible to sprout them, even without the huls?

Thanks everyone!

hey, judy. as far as soaking, dunno.

but for sprouting, yup, dehulled works very well. just don't let them sprout too long or they will get bitter.
i soak about 1/2 cup or so overnight, then do the rinse and drain thing twice per day for about 36 to 42 hours. rinse and drain one more time and throw them in the fridge.
