Hi All

So, it's been a frustrating day...I'm a little doubtful today...I have to have a piece of bread..... So, last night I made and loved the fettucini, but I think I ate too much cause I was really sick after..now there's some in the fridge, but the thought of it....cant go there..... I've been eating nuts and fruit and salad all day..... and tonight, I wanted to make another meal, but, for every one, there's an ingredient I'm missing (after spending $100 to get ALL of the necessities)..... THen I try to blend because my food processor is so small..... so the mock tuna salad came out okay, but I can't just spoon it into my mouth as it is..and my avocadoes aren't ripe...so frig...... it all seems ridiculous as i sit here starving with frozen pizza in the fridge!!! anyway, Im making some bread with my tuna salad, cuz I don't have a dehydrator and Im not running out to get a single thing more....
grumble, grumble...

Why not just have the mock tuna in a romain wrap, add a couple of sliced tomatoes, sprouts, and/or whatever? Have nuts? Make some eggless egg salad, walnut taco meat, etc. Got a blender? Make green smoothies - a complete and nutritious meal that satiates the appetite. Got frozen fruit (ie bananas/berries)? Make ice cream or sorbet. With a little planning, the possibilities are endless and make transition so much easier. ~ Cathy

I've had SO many nuts...I spent about $40 just the other day and used them all in two recipes.....I was hoping it wouldn't be quite so expensive to be raw....

This is exactly why I don't eat nuts. To me they are a waste of time, money and calories. Just my little ole opinion.

You don't HAVE to eat lots of expensive nuts and recipes. You CAN eat simpler if you want to. :)

I can't even eat nuts anymore, at least not for a while... since I got sick a few weeks ago. If I were you I would try to cut back on the nuts, b/c they might be what's making you feel sick after you eat too many of them. And when they are in recipes such as pies or mock tuna you don't always realize how many you are eating.

Enlighten me, David.....I thought the recipes would add variety.... greens and fruit only go so far?:o
