I saw a couple of you are from here. Where do you do your grocery shopping? I'm making a list now. Are there any local health food stores I should know about? In Cali we had a Henry's, it was a market that specialized in organic/health foods. I have never seen a place like that on the East Coast.

Hi LaTisha07! Welcome! Have you checked out The Yabba Pot? Charles Village area. Skai - the owner is a wonderful gal and I bet she could hook you up. Also, under the 41st street bridge? Is a RAWsome farmer's market held on the weekends.

Welcome to RTF :) My name is Portia and I am new to the Raw Foods life. One suggestion is hang out at your local Farmer's Market. It is a wonderful place to find fresh fruits and vegetables. Hope that this helps and I hope to see you around the forum.

Thank you! I was talking to a friend today, telling him that I'm eating raw and I need to find a health food store so he proceeded to tell me about this place called the Yabba Pot! lol I don't believe in coincedences (I can't even spell the word..haha). I'll definitely check out the site and I have an excuse to spend more time with this new friend. He has to show me how to get there! :)
