expiration date

I thought my juicer would be getting here much faster than it did. I have wheat grass that has the expiration sticker on it for 8-17. since it is live raw is that really the expiration date? should I get another box today?

I'm really anxious to try wheat grass. I hope I'm one of those who likes it. :p
