Hey all you rawkin rawbies!

I've got a question about seaweeds. I'd like to start eating them, and especially want to make some nori rolls which I've been craving for like a week now. But I really really don't like fishy tasting things. Salty is fine, but pleeeeaase no fishiness! Can anyone recommend a good type of seaweed?

Ok, and about the nori... last time I bought some (this was a long time ago, I dunno what brand or if it was raw) it tasted like a dead fish and I couldn't eat it. Is that what nori usually tastes like?? I've had nori rolls in raw restaurants that didn't taste fishy at all! So like, is some brand better than others...or is there something I can do to it to get rid of the fishy taste?

Any suggestions appreciated! Thanks everyone! :)

I bought raw nori at rainbow and I don't think it tastes like dead fish. Eww. I also buy these awesome kelp noodles that look like cooked spaghetti...they're in the refridgerated case to the right to the other seaweeds at rainbow (with the miso and saurkraut). I also put dulse flakes in my blended salads. That is the extent of my seaweed consumption.

I love those kelp noodles! Darn, forgot to get some tonight  But yeah, I'm looking more for things like nori...hmm, maybe that batch I got had gone bad? I dunno, but I'm still kinda afraid to try it again. I'll wait to see if anyone else replies.... :)
