Hi there... So, I've decided after many failed attempts and many years researching it to try again to be raw.

I have PCOS, IBS, and a few other minor issues. My biggest issue is my weight. I need to be healthier for me. I need to not continue on my current path or I will die very young.

I'm 30 years old.... I have been a junk-food vegetarian for MANY years... really since childhood.

I guess I am just looking for support and maybe some new friends.

thanks for reading. have a blessed day.

Hey! Welcome! I too was a junk food Vegetarian and overcame that. Listen to this:

Rawkin' Radio Shoe #19 is up and running!!!

While Alissa is out and about Revvell and her special co-host Lucy (veganforlife) take over the "airwaves". During their chat Revvell gets Lucy's story about how raw food has changed her life by eliminating migraines and bringing her thyroid into balance. They also discuss weight issues, eating disorders, menopause, eating socially, cravings and more.

Hi FairyPrincess,
Welcome! Sounds like you and i have alot in common. I too am 30 yrs old, and suffer w/PCOS. I am just returning back to the 'Raw' lifestyle after being off for 7 months. I feel more ready than ever, and ready to make this transition a permanent one this time.

Best of luck as we motivate each other in our Raw Journey!

Hi! I'm new to this lifestyle as well. I was really addicted to the SAD diet. It took 14 months of learning about raw, knowing all along it was the right thing for my family, to finally commit!

You can do this! I'm doing really well, and I must be very toxic from that diet of mine! I was a junk-a-holic!

I have a lot of weight to lose as well. I have some health issues too. But nothing major. I'm 32, and my hubby's doing this with me at age 35!

Glad to be on this journey with you! We're going to be so much healthier! Yay!

Welcome to RTF :) You are talking to Junk-O-Holic here. This is still one of my bodies. My other problem right now is that I work for McDonald's. It makes being Raw virtually impossible. This payday I plan to start my own home business and can leave. I may have a month or two of transition but after that I can find freedom.

Correction :) I am not sure where that sentence came from. What I was trying to say is that junk food is still an issue.
