... for my friend, not me... Really! :p
I have a friend who is over 100 pounds overweight, in her fifties, and it's starting to do a real number on her health.
Would you please post any links of really inspiring BEFORE and AFTERs that you know about? She has said that these really help, to see pictures of people who have had that type of weight loss success. She has bought some raw books, appliances, but it hasn't really "taken" for her yet. She is the sort of person who takes care of everyone else first and herself last. It's getting to the point I worry about her dying young if she doesn't do something soon.
Also, does anyone know if the video from that project Gabriel Cousens was doing with diabetic people is available for viewing?
Any links appreciated!

Good luck to your friend. http://www.shazzie.com/raw/transformation/
I have a raw book that has some remarkable before/after photos in it. I can't remember the name of the book. I don't know if there is a website. I will check when I get home from work.

Sounds like a lovely person. I understand thinking that it is a mountain that can not be tackled. But it can be, one step at a time.

It gives me such inspiration to see the transformations in all of these people. I wonder how that one girl is doing that was pictured in Alissa's book. She lost so much weight and looked so great. I need to look up her name.

Which one from the book are you referring too? Her friend Christine? I'd like to know how the ladies in the DVD are doing.

I wonder how Christine is doing too but this girl's name is Rachel that I am talking about. She lost so much weight and looked so good. I wonder if she kept it up. She seemed to have such a sweet disposition just by reading her journal entries in the book. :)

Well since May 24 th 2006 I have lost 146 lbs so far I have two pictures on here that are the first 100 lb loss. I will be adding one more Picture when I lose 5 lbs more. I got to tell you your friend needs to go raw and she will lose weight and get very healthy too. I was borderline Diabetic and I beat that too. Now I have a normal blood sugar too. Plus if your friend needs some help I would be glad to help too.
This is the one way that really works and you don't have to worry about gaining it back either Good luck to you and your friend I almost forgot get your friend a Copy of Alissa's book and dvd that will help so much. Doug in calif...
