flax seed crackers?

I just made my first batch of flax seed crackers, and there is this kind of plasticky looking stuff around the edges of them...is it the water gel that has dried up?

Let me know if anyone knows what I am talking about!

Yeah, that's just the goo from the seeds - it's fine :)

A little scary looking (like plastic wrap) but it's nothing - munch away:D
