I've been eating a bit cooked food lately, maybe....30 or 40%? mostly natural whole foods (organic hemp cereal, organic apple bars, roasted almonds...and still a green smoothie every day w/ you're my everything supplement, MSM, and spinach)
i am returning back to 100% raw and most of today my mouth was really sore, esp. my tongue and i feel like theres a tiny piece of a tooth coming in behind my molar, even though i had all of my wisdom teeth out
My friend says it's my pH levels
how would i go about fixing them?
I also read that almonds can make you get mouth sores...
it's hard to eat with them. I guess you could say my mouth feels a bit acidic
any advice? thank you :)

bodaflower... try oil pulling... I've had canker sores in my mouth and the oil pulling took the pain away and healed it like in two days. I would try the coconut oil b/c its so gentle, tastes great and is very healing. I've also had areas like pockets around some of my teeth that were very sore and would catch food... they are tightening up and healing...
my gums were sensitive and sometimes eating nuts would hurt - but now -- my mouth is getting better and better. I dunno if the op'ing would help with a PH problem, but I think it is somehow very balancing and it just might help!! It's worth a try! ;)
I don't want to give the impression that I have a very yucky mouth!! Really I don't !! I brush my teeth 3 times a day!! I'm fanatical when it comes to dental health. but b/c of bad foods as a child and lack of proper training as a young child - I have always had cavities - stuff like that ... in my late teens I bcame a dental fanatic an started taking really good care of my teeth - I think that's why I still have them!! The oil pulling has been a major blessing to my routine! :D
hope you feel better!

Whenever I have eaten cooked food and then go back to raw (ESPECIALLY nuts) then my tongue will hurt as you described. Try drinking green smoothies too...that seems to help me and after a day or two, my tongue feels back to normal.
