vegan kefir???

is this possible....has anyone tried oat milk or nut milk kefir??

Its possible to make kefir out of any plant milk but the kefir culture wont keep growing, it will die. It will only keep growing in animal milk. But you could buy those packets of kefir culture that arent real grains that die after a few uses anyway.

actually there is a vegan kefir that the bacteria absolutely thrives on...it's coconut water kefir. i've made it and it tastes absolutely amazing. it's so nutritious i don't have time to write it all out right now, but check it out.
