at the risk of being gauche...

i read an interview with sarma m. (i can't spell her last name) where she said that is she does have a cooked meal, she takes enzymes.

now, i don't plan on eating anything cooked, but if i did, what kind of enzymes would these be? from the interview she made them seem like they were a pill.

i'm just interested in it as a contingency sort of thing.

thanks1

digestive enzyme tablets. I've been taking them for about 1 1/2 years, but stopped when I started eating raw. I've taken lactase for lactose intolerance for about 20 years, but haven't had dairy in a few months, so I haven't taken them.

There are a ton of different brands of digestive enzymes out there. My mom takes them and swears by them. Just make sure to read the ingredients if you're vegetarian/vegan, because some of them have...scary ingredients.

I have chewable ones that I take after I eat something that isn't digesting well. They are AWESOME. just make sure the ones you get don't have lactase (unless for some odd reason you are eating dairy).
