Since I live alone, my batch of zucchini hummus was lasting too long. I was getting tired of it, and I had concerns about how much longer it could last. So it has been given a new life: I added a head of broccoli pureed in the food processor and about a cup or so of ground flax seed until it became kind of tacky, and made little felafel-like balls. Hopefully they will be delicious when they emerge from the dehydrator tonight!

I LOVE this. Creating a dish from something else - that's a cool thing about raw foods.

My bf is a master at this. Anytime there is something leftover or something doesn't turn out good - he makes a dip or something out of it. I am not allowed to throw anything out.
I made raw mashed potatoes with cheddar cauliflower and it was too strong tasting and we couldn't eat it. He put something in it (I forget what) to let it ferment and it totally changed the taste of it and it turned into a dip. :)
