Hey guys! OK, so this is my first post! :D I'm excited! Well, let's get down to business. I became a vegetarian about 2 months ago. I became vegan about a week ago. lol. I've been researching this whole raw thing and I really wanna do it, but I'm not sure the best way to go about transitioning. I've noticed that a lot of people are doing the monthly challenge, and I really wanna go for it, but like I said I'm kinda clueless as to how I should go about it. I became vegetarian cold turkey and vegan cold turkey as well, and I still have cravings for meat every now and again. If I make the change to go raw, I want to feel good about it, so I was wondering if any of you had any suggestions. Thanks!! :)

EDIT: I should add that I do have Alissa's book, but not the dvd. I am excited to start, but it's a little tough because I'm away at college, and I'm still not sure how to implement the raw "diet" with so many temptations. Any advice?

First off, welcome!! If you haven't already, may I suggest you order Alissa's, "Living on Live Food" book/dvd. It will walk you through the whole process, and has lots of easy and delicious recipes that should take care of any cravings you still may have. In the interim, you can blend up some green smoothies - takes literally a minute or two to make, and they are a complete meal that will satiate your appetite. Wishing you much success on your raw journey ~ Cathy
