I was looking for any posts about sugar... but most of the things i found were talking about sugar levels in the body etc...

My question about the product...
My bf brough me some amazing raw things from Mexico...
and one of them is a lump of sugar... which he was told is not processed in any way and is totally natural...
It tastes a bit like some plant
(which i cant recall the name though i remember it from some herbal tea from when i was younger)
It looks a bit like pressed plants or something a bit brownish coulour....
And i was just wondering is there such a thing as raw sugar?
Cause I loooove it and would be so pleased to know it's raw :)

Thanks everyone !!
Lots of love,
Mary

It's probably a chunk of cane sugar? I still feel it is processed somehow...the reason I'm saying that is because there is no plant that grows like a chunk of sugar. It's extracted, dryed, pressed, etc. The second photo is sugar cane varities. Yes, there IS raw sugar, but it's still processed.

I agree with Lucy. It's probably not 100% natural, and besides, there are so many sweet, natural fruits already. Is it really necessary? (But that's just my opinion).
