Hi Evie,

Welcome to the board. Have you purchased Alissa's book? It's a great book to start with and I'm sure all of us here would be more then happy to help you.

When you say "if your job does not have the capability", what do you mean?

BUT!!! if you mean financially - you can just eat simply and as hi raw as possible and make very wise choices otherwise. Sometimes I cannot afford organic veggies - so I compromise and buy them at the grocery store. I cut corners where I can if I need to and wash my veggies really good!

blessings on your journey... I look forward to following your posts!!

RAWK ON...

Two words:
Green Smoothies - pretty cheap, filling meal

Oh hey, I know *exactly* what you mean. My work culture is really food centric and not in a good way. There are pot lucks and food centered celebrations every week. It's amazing. No one is even vegetarian. It's just me and a bunch of carnivores.

I've made a pact with myself to do one raw year starting September1st though. You can do it. Haul a fruit and greens smoothie in with you for breakfast and pack your own food - fruit and a nice big salad. The only people that notice what I eat are the folks who sit on either side of me.
