Diarrhea still after three weeks ? ? ?

Is this still detox or what? Any others have this experience?

Oh yeah. Your body is REALLY cleaning itself out. Be sure to keep yourself hydrated with water and oh yeah - Green Smoothies!!!

I am not the best with water. Have Green Smoothie with a big handful of greens at least once a day. Then avocado, tomatoes, etc., for salads. And fruit. Sometimes nuts, not every day. Still hung up on avocado, onion and tomato! ! ! Surely my body doesn't need that much avocado and tomato! But that's about all I want other than the Green Smoothie (and it's tomato and a large handful of kale or spinach).

I will start doing better with water also.

I think I pooped heavily for about 3 months. Don't know what you consider diarrhea...but I just kept going and going and going.....After just about a year, I can now go at the same times every day and I don't have the same urgency to go. It just happens when I sit down....at the toilet that is.....:D

Diarrhea for me is going 4 or 5 times a day, very loose. Sometimes afraid to get away from home. I had been constipated all of my life . . . my Mom said I was born constipated, and I remained that way until three weeks ago! Rather graphic . . . oh, well.

3 weeks? I'm on month 6 and still have it. :eek: I see it as a good thing though, the body is cleaning itself out!

Yeeks! 6 months! Maybe I can change my attitude, but at the present time do not see this as a good thing! Just don't want to be very far away from a bath room at any time, and that is somewhat inconvenient.

Seriously, I do see it as a healthy long term situation . . . if it just does not last forever!

Just in case it might help someone else cope . . .

Tomorrow will be four weeks RAW for me. Finally the diarrhea is getting better. At least it usually happens only once per day rather than all day every day!

Hope someone can be encouraged!

Vegan - the diarrhea is detoxing? why does it happen? can you explain? i've only had two bad days but it lasted a good two hours of constant constant ....

I'm with you on this... weeks at a time. I've learned that my body wasn't used to the tons of fiber and extra water, so it zoomed through faster than normal.

Just make sure you're staying hydrated in the meantime and it will clear up sooner or later :)
