I would like to switch on Raw Diet, but I have some stomack issues( gastritis, inflamed esophagus). I prepared some food according to Alissa's book, but I felt discomfort after eating, it feels too heavy, especially nuts.

I have a problem with too many nuts to. I have also had an ulcer and gastritis, so I know where you are coming from.
Try going RAW through the sweet fruit, vegetables, greens, sprouted cereal and juice route. remember to avoid the dreaded citrus fruits for a month or so as it may cause a gastritis attack. Limit nuts to a handful and you should be ok.
Those are the guidelines I used whilst vegan for surviving with gastritis, so it should work for raw too.

So sorry you had some tummy issues after eating raw!! Did you try some of the recipes like - pesto? You can use less nuts and more basil - or the stuffed portebello mushroom is also very gentle and wonderful! Also - are you soaking your nuts? that will help make it easier on your digestion. And - green smoothies would be wonderful for your tummy & nutritious too! ;)

I agree that green smoothies are fabulous. Also, can you pinpoint any specific food that might be upsetting your stomach? For me early on it was raw peppers and raw nuts, but after a week or so my body was definitely able to adapt to raw, and things that previously felt harsh to me (like peppers and nuts) no longer bothered me.
Best of luck to you!

I think I might have the raw pepper problem too. I'm still trying to pinpoint which foods might have attacked me these last couple weeks...

I have been 100% raw for almost 2 weeks. Have excruciating headaches, sometimes 4 days in a row, less painful or more, sometimes with nausea. Still feel lethargic most of the time, and feverish at evening time. Is it normal detox phase?

Did you look at Rawlicious' recent post? She has cured her intestinal problems with raw. MAybe e-mail her (and there are many others here who have cured gut issues) and see if she has any tips?
I will also add to the pile, green smoothies are amazing!!
