My Omega 8003 is on it's way! It should be here by the end of the week.

I am flying out next week for 12 days and I want to to bring my juicer with me. Can I bring it on the plane? If it sits in the hot car for a long period of time, will it mess it up? Are the airlines going to think I have a bomb or something? Is it worth it or should I just suck it up and wait till I get back to juice?

Thanks so much. :D

i think they pack those things pretty well for shipping purposes.

keep it in the original box when you take it..
you can probably rig up some string or put it in a canvas bag with handles for easy carrying..( but still in the box, of course)

(well, why not... as long as you will have a place to buy fruit and veggies for your juicing, and a place to wash and cut things and juice up, and clean up..where you are going...?)

gosh, when you are on an enthusiasm roll..why not follow along.?
do not think sitting in a hot place witll effect it.
when they package the things for shipping, they do so for all possible conditions.

but , before you go, do take it out of the box, clean it well , and try it.
of course..just to make sure it works.

( i know you would do that anyway.)

have a great and juicy trip

Why don't you just ship it a few days before you go on your trip (and ship it home) so you don't have to worry about dragging it around when traveling?

I don't know why I didn't think about keeping it in the original box! Great idea. For some reason I had it in my head that I would have it in a bag or suitcase with towels around it or something. :p

I will definitely be trying it before I go. I am so excited. I am going to NY for a wedding reception. I will be in a hotel for a few days, a friend's house for a few more and then possibly camping over labor day weekend. I figure, other than the 3 days of camping, I will be able to use it every morning if I take it. I am also playing with the idea of getting the Manual Healthy Juicer b/c it seems like it is a bit more portable.

That is a good idea, I would do that but I would have to ship it to my bf mom's house (who I have never met) and I don't want her to think I am strange...a juicer arrives, then the girlfriend. :D

I would not go through the hassle for 12 days vs. the price of your juicer plus just carrying the heavy package. I would just Eat Raw....Buy me an under $2o- blender and make smoothies.......I have been there before and wish I had not brought things with me that I had to Baby Sit.

I hope you have a Wonderful time Whaterer you decide to do.......

That is a good point. I guess I am just so excited about my juicer coming and dissapointed in having so little time to enjoy it before I go. I think I will just wait and see how big and heavy it really is. I was thinking about my bf's reaction too when he realizes I am lugging a juicer up there with me. He loves my quirks but this may be a bit much. :p

I have gone this long without juice. I do feel like a kid right before christmas though.
