Hi there,
Do you know if it is possible to juice the fresh corn kernels? If so, any ideas on what would taste good with it?

I considered it also, but don't know.
I think corn might be evil.
Not making a joke, but don't have any data to back up my opinion. Just a gut feeling....

You may have a good sense there boo radley. Corn is often a gmo food and we don't know if what we are getting is gmo or not. It has been publicly acknowledged that the corn used in chips like Fritos is gmo. Starving 3rd world nations have refused our grain shipments because unlike US citizens - they know that part of the gmo process is to inject an antibiotic resistant gene into the corn. So if we eat it will that make us resistant to antibiotics when the next pandemic occurs?
Knowing this I still eat corn by the way. I have read that being 100% raw makes one resistant to bugs so I will count on that.

Rmiller, I get creamed corn just getting the kernels off since I only have an old fashioned cheese grater to do it with. I am sure that there was a corn chowder recipe here I saw a year ago. I would want to add a bit of nut mylk and some spices like paprika or chili. Maybe some finely chopped onion - not to overwhelm flavor. going to look for recipe.
