View Full Version : Tomorrow's another day, right? Right?!

I had a non-raw meal tonight that included foods I know make me feel awful.
Usually I'm pretty resilient, but tonight I just need some voices of experience and sanity to tell me that this is not the end of the world, and that I can just have my green smoothie in the morning and move on. 'Cause I can do that, right?

mangotango - dude, you've already answered it. Don't beat yourself up. One meal is not gonna undo what you've done. You'll be fine. It is NOT the end of the world as you know it. No biggie. Now just don't make a habit of doing it and doing it (going off).
We'll let you slide this time! :p

:) :) :)
But seriously, don't beat yourself up. And forget about how crap it might make you feel.
Just ENJOY falling off the raw wagon every once in a while, laugh about it, it makes life so much easier, and climb back on again. You're doing great, you have come far and you deserve a big hug for it, plus a delicious smoothie in the morning!
This comes from a véry experienced and sane person, so you'd better take my word for it and start praising yourself :)

aaaw! PLEASE don't have guilt...everyone falls off the raw wagon, in fact, many times (yes, this is me speaking from experience, hehe :D ) it is definitely not going to undo all the hard work you've done so far. be kind to yourself and learn to forgive yourself-you are on the right path and doing a great job!!! going raw is a huge commitment and takes a lot of time, not to mention lots of trial-and-error. hugs and kisses to you, lady. keep rawkin' on.

Thank you! I knew I could count on you guys! :)
Today's been much better, and we just went shopping so the kitchen is full of delicious, good-for-me food.
Have a great week, everyone!

Cure for self abuse: over the past 30 days you've eaten how many meals & snacks? OK, and one cooked meal... that's like 1% or so.
NOT BAD in the big picture.
