For the last few days, I have wanted to eat only tomatoes, avocado, onion with salt added, three times daily. Must be craving something I am not getting. Any ideas?

That is too funny. I went through that same craving a few months back. Actually back in the winter. I didn't question it. I just ate and ate and ate. Then it left and I started craving oranges and grapefruits.
Dunno...

I eat cucumbers, tomatoes, onions, and sometimes avocado too with sea salt, pepper, italian seasoning, dill, and vinegar (finishing up some seasoned sushi vinegar, otherwise i'd use agave with regular) quite often. It's just really good!

I think you are craving it because it is
GOOD AND NUTRITIOUS FOOD:D
i often lately have had almost exactly the same craving.
except i wrap it all up in nori, making snack sized bites of some of it.. and eat slighly less onions than i might want to..( just for social reasons..) (onions are so good ; so cleansing !)
I would say that you are just craving it because it is good.
But then again, what do i know:eek:

Thanks to all of you. Just don't want to be ignoring a craving that means I need something else. I know avocados are supposedly bad for weight loss because of the fat content, but I am losing as rapidly as I really want to. At my age I do not want to lose rapidly and become a wrinkled prune!
Today I also started craving chocolate so made some Chocolate Fudge and have a green smoothie every morning. But twice a day for several days I have had "tomato, avocado, onion and salt". Feel wonderful and happy as a bee!

On a SAD/CRAP diet avocados do not do one justice, but on a raw diet, they are great! It's a good fat. Folks need to remember that. Just like coconut oil is a good fat and one's body DOES need fat.
Eat and enjoy!!! And you won't lose and become wrinkly. Do you dry skin brush? I have found that works wonders. Our skin is our biggest organ, so that makes sense to brush it. Always brush toward the heart - with a plant bristle brush, not too hard. The cellulite areas can be brushed in a circular motion, ending in strokes toward the heart. Also the green smoothies - btw - good that you're drinking them will help your skin too!

I am familiar with skin brushing, but have never done that. I need to get a brush and start doing that. THANKS!

I think I am going to begin having my tomato and avocado over spinach, just to get more spinach into the diet. I have been sometimes using lettuce but spinach is probably much more nutritious.

According to Alissa Cohen you crave what your body needs. The combination of nutrition founds in those foods is exactly what you need, so eat up girly!

When I first went mostly (75%) raw, I craaaaved sea veggies, especially wakame. I ate it like candy for almost a week, and then the craving stopped. I must have been deficient in something that little seaweed had. :)
After the craving ended, I could hardly eat it, 'cause it was too salty. Now I eat a few leaves every couple days or so, and I'm fine.
Our bodies speak to us, we should listen.
