I have to wear contact lenses or glasses, FULL TIME. Ever since I was about 2-3 years old. When I was about 10 I migrated more towards contact lenses, because I like being active, dancing, surfing etc and glasses are just a pain. They get spotty in the rain, and I am a perfectionist so ANY speck on my glasses would make me cringe and get angry.
So to the point:
Does anyone know how damaging the chemicals in the contact lense solutions are, or if there are any better options solution-wise?
I don't see myself able to afford lasik surgery in the next few years, as my prescription changes too often (though only by a smidgen) for them to allow me to do so, and...yeah, money. I'd rather go to college than have better eyesight without contacts.
So yeah! Any options? I use the generic Kirkland brand from Costco for soft lenses...
I've been slowly nix-ing the bad products I used on my hair, body, around the house....but I can't see myself giving up wearing my lenses right now...
