This is my all time favorite rawnola recipe! I wish I could remember who was the original poster, please take credit if you are reading this because it really is one of my MOST favorite and most made recipes.

I use Alissa's raw oat flakes instead of the groats and I don't soak them if I use flakes. Just my personal preference. It comes out in chunks and I eat it as a snack by hand versus always eating it as a cereal with nut mylk. I think you could make bars out of this too, if you give it a try please let us know how it turns out!

1 cup each Oat groats, almonds, sunflower seeds and walnuts soaked over
night
in a seperate bowl mix together 1/2 cup almond butter & 1/2 cup agave necter
& 1 apple pureed and cinnamon to taste.
Mix well with your grouts and nut mixture.
Dehydrate until you get the desired dryness you want. Then add raisins or
chopped dates. Store in air tight container in the fridge.

I just mixed up a concotion of oats, cocoa powder, honey, coconut flakes, coconut oil, cinnamon, dried currants, raisins, milled flaxseed and mashed banana. I pressed it into a square pan and popped it in the freezer to firm up. mmm cant wait till its done. im gonna snack on chocolate oatmeal raisin bars and read harry potter, yay. have some ginger tea too.

This sounds so good, do let us know how it turned out! I would like to try this combo too. And Harry Potter and some ginger tea, sounds like a great idea to me!

how about?

1 cup dried apricots
1 c figs
1 c dates
1/2 c raisins or currants
1 c dried, unsweetened coconut
1/2 c almond butter
1/2 c honey

grind each fruit in a food processer separately
mix the fruit together and add the coconut

mix the almond butter and honey well. add to the fruit and coconut mixture. combine well.

shape into balls or bars and chill.

i've made pecan butter that would work just as well with this recipe. i've also added ground flax seeds or some raw sunflower seeds.

enjoy!

I don't have dried apricots, but I want to try this. Do you think extra raisins and coconut would work??

you can really use any dried fruit. imho, more raisins would make it too sweet.

add an extra 1/2 cup of each figs and dates, maybe?

and sure, more coconut in anything is always good!
