I am making my very first green smoothie ever. Can I put a carrot in a blender? in the past I've always only juiced them...don't want to break my blender.

Also what would go good with pineapple, romaine? all I have in my fridge is: figs, cucumbers, carrots, mint...I'm making it right now...

The only reason I am sticking to this raw thing so far is because the food is delicious.

Just blended it, all is safe, are these green smoothies suppose to be this dense? It feels more like the green bomb!

I usually juice carrots, but many others blend them.
If your smoothie is too thick - add more water.

If I may?

The only reason I am sticking to this raw thing so far is because the food is delicious.

This is an odd thing to say.

Me? The only reason I am sticking to this raw thing for life is because I am healing...I'm alive...I'm healthy...

I always make my green smoothies with greens and all fruit, like cherries, strawberries, banana, mango, etc., plus water to thin it out, They are delicious.

I don't think I would blend carrots, you might dull the blade. You might try them in the food processor first or eat them on the side.

I dont like dense or thick green smoothies. I prefer mine as thin (and green) as possible. You can add more water or fresh juice.

As far as carrots, It depends on your blender. I know I would see smoke coming out of my Sunbeam and I don't want to take the chance with my Blend Tec.
