I am not sure if this has already beenposted or not. It's a video about fast food burgers. Very interesting. There is a hamburger museum now with OLD hamburgers that have not rotted. ewwwww..... :eek:

Oh yeah! Morgan Spurlock's "Super Size Me" documentary? One the extras shows that too. The French Dies (fries) did not mold after months! It's nasty crap. It should not even be called food. Food is a life force. This crap is slow death.

Lucy, I loved that movie. My kids watched it and it really made an impression on them....even though they eventually started craving McD's again.:rolleyes:

What's weird is if I eat cooked food I start to get dark circles under my eyes and have horrible mucus problems. It is definitely a killer!

Of course they would. It's an addiction. It's fast, convenient, lazy, horrid. But it's definitely an addiction. Me? I'm addicted to raw foods.

I have never watched this or the super-size me movie. I just went to the video posted above and then started watching other clips.... OMG how nasty!!!!!!!

"Fast food Nation," is another must watch. I will never eat fast food again or beef.

You're right Lucy. I guess I didn't truly realize how much of an addiction it was until today. We had gone to the market to get some more coconuts and there is a Burger King nearby. The kids could smell it and were freaking out. My daughter said it smelled sooooo good. I said, "Yeah, but you know how it makes you feel." Her response, "I know and I don't care. It tastes so good."

I told her that's a sign of addiction when you don't care how it makes you feel. It's kind of scary that I have to help my kids get over an addiction at this young age. Very sad. But at least we are doing something about it.:)
