I just made this for my dinner and it is really good! I thought the carrot would throw the flavor off for me (because carrots in smoothies usually taste strong to me) but this was great. I did add a bit of water to help it all blend and lots of spinach because I don't miss any opportunities to get my greens!
Watermelon Surprise Smoothie
Serves: 2 (It made about 1 quart and that only enough for 1 person as far as I am concerned!)
Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Ingredients:
* 2 1/2 cups watermelon
* 1 cup baby carrots
* 1 cup frozen strawberries
* 1 frozen banana
* 2 medjool dates, pitted
* 2 tablespoons ground flax seeds (optional)
Instructions:
Blend all ingredients together in a Vita-Mix or other powerful blender.
