So I was doing a little bit of an experiment this morning. Usually the smoothie that I was making had a cup of milk in it so I tried switching that 1 cup of milk to water and the whole smoothie came out even better! So here is the recipe for a tasty banana smoothie for 1! Hope you like it, cuz i sure do!
Tasty Banana Smoothie:
1 ripe frozen banana
1 cup water
4-7 ice cubes depending on your preference
1 tsp vanilla
4 packets of splenda or sweetner that you like, i just used splenda because i didn't have anything else
Blend, Pulse and Mix.
Enjoy!

Sounds great...I use almond milk instead of water and wouldn't touch Splenda with a ten foot pole...agave is delicious and low gylcemic...

Sounds like it would be good .... if i liked bananas. The first thing I thought was "NOOOOO, not splenda!! It's evil!" I'd suggest honey before splenda. Try agave or stevia maybe?

Yeah Splenda is not the best of choices. There's a lot of misinformation that it's 'natural' or 'like sugar' it's neither. Agave for me is the best choice, for some reason stevia makes me feel sort of loopy.

I use stevia powder from trader joe's.
Not sure just how processed/raw it is, as it's pure white and very powdery....but I'd rather use it than splenda.
If anyone knows of an economical source of NATURAL/RAW stevia that doesn't involve me growing it myself (I'm a plant murderer! I can't get ANYTHING TO GROW/STAY ALIVE!)....let me know!
