View Full Version : Pebble poop (HELP!)

For the past week or so, my poop has been coming out as little pebbles! It doesn't hurt to go or anything like that, but they're dense and sink to the bottom. I'm pretty sure heavy, pebble-like poop is not good. I've been 100% raw for 3 weeks now and my poop used to be smooth and s-shaped. What should I do!!:confused: :confused: :confused:
P.S. Sorry if I've grossed anyone out.

Hi,
I don't know if you're doing a lot of drinks, smoothies, gs. that kind of thing instead of eating a lot of fiber?
Try an all fruit day, or up your intake of fiber.
there is another thread here where someone had trouble going and a lot of good info in the answers there.
Hope you start moving freely soon.

I have about 1.5 liters of green smoothies a day. Made with collards/spinach/cukes/celery/lettuce/apples/bananas. Not all these greens at once. This is as much as I can do without getting sick. I eat fruit througout the day and I snack on nuts and raisins. My mom is a nurse and said my fiber to water ratio is off and I need to up my water intake. I drink about 2-3 L of water a day. Is this true? When I think about it, my mouth feels dry even though I drink so much water. Should I really make an effort to drink about 4-5 liters?

I was going to ask you if you are drinking enough water... MOM IS RIGHT... drink more WATER!! Remember - our body is mostly water!!! WATER IS GOOD!!! :D

Increase water and raw fat intake
Also keep in mind that you migh be releasing some decay that had been sitting in the diverticulum pockets of you intestine. RELEASE and be free!!
If you are missing you S poops or just want a big blow out
then enjoy three handfulls of really raw cashews
2 large oranges
and a glass of water
THEN HOLD YOUR ANKLES:eek: :eek: :eek: :eek:
and go!!!!

I'm picturing a rocket to the moon! (Graphic warning...) I get the "pebbles" too, only sometimes they float which provokes interesting thoughts like "What the HECK are those", etc. Better out than in right? :D

When I calculated how much fiber I am getting, it came out to over 60 grams a day! :eek: I eat enough fiber for a whole family, based upon the stupid FDA recommendations.
ANYWAYS -
Drink water, maybe take some MSM (because apparently it's good for everything, including poo) and try a tbsp or so of coconut oil a day.
It could be an absorbtion thing.
