I'm curious about how big of a smoothie everyone is making. Mine seems like a lot. Today's was 2 bananas, a small bag of frozen cherries, a cup of frozen raspberries, a mango, handful each of kale and romaine, tsp of cacoa, 2 tsp agave, water (about 2 cups or more). Filled the whole blender. I take it to work and it lasts until about 11:30.

Mine's about 38 ounces. I give about an ounce or more each to my dogs and then I drink the rest, which is about 34-36 ounces...

I guess mine's about 34 ounces, how long does it take you to drink it?

mines about 24 oz. 1 banana, 1/2 bag of frozen fruit, 2 big handsful of spinach, a handful of parsley and 1.5 cups water. I drink two of these a day, though.

About two hours or so. Depends. I "chew" it. I take my time with it.

By chewing I mean I guess more swishing around my tongue before I swallow. I don't just "gulp" them down.

Mine fill up the whole blender. Sometimes I just pop a straw into the blender, I don't even pour into glasses! :D

I always make just over one litre/quart. I always eat it from a bowl. Its like having 3 bowls of cereal!:D

I always end up with about 1 quart no matter what I put in it! I have one of these every day.

Mine take up the whole blender too! No matter how small I try to make them, nope, always fill it up. I dunno how many ounces that is... I'd guess at least 4 cups. And I drink it all at once, like within 20 minutes.

Mine fill up the whole blender... and I usually do this 2-3 times a day!!! I have alot of green smoothies... lol they are just so addicting! my favorite is to put it in a bowl and eat it with a spoon, like pudding :)

Ditto... except I don't even bother with the straw, I just drink right from the blender!

I make enough to fit in, what I like to call my "sippie" cup. 32oz cup with lid and straw to drink on the way to work. takes about 20 min. Is this too long?
I don't like it to get warm. Plus it is breakfast. Don't want to take two hours to "eat" breakfast....
And I'm just thirsty. :D

Hey Vegan... I dunno... I have read soooo many of your posts about Green Smoothes... You make such great points about them, but I just can't seem to get into them! Mine always turn out "gritty" and I don't enjoy them. I do like Banana/Mango/Almond Milk smoothies, though (no grit). Sometimes I put some Avacado in it, too. I just haven't found one with the "greens" that I like. Any suggestions?

About 3-5 cups on average. I use about 1/2 bunch of greens 1 banana and some fruit. I do have to cut the banana out; they don't agree with me at all. :( It takes me 15 minutes to 2 hours to finish it. It depends on how hungry I am.

I fill my blender (about 5 cups) each morning, but I share it with my husband and son, so we each get about 16 oz. each.
I think I need to make more smoothies throughout the day so that we can get more ozs.
Sounds good right now, as a matter of fact...see ya...:D

Hey ReneeH - my daughter's name is Renea!!!
What I would suggest is making your favorite FRUIT smoothie and add a few leaves of spinach or romaine lettuce or a few "field" greens mix. See how that tastes. Then gradually add more and more greens over the next few weeks. Don't start out making hard core green smoothies because you won't like them. I didn't.
Try that and see how that helps...
