My face is changing

I am a couple of days into my 4th week of 100% raw. Over the past few days, I've noticed my face becoming more angular. I am starting to see an indentation in my cheeks. My face is oval, but it's starting to look less round oval and more narrow, angular oval. I can really feel and see my cheek bones starting in the area in front of my 'sideburns' and going downwards towards my nose. It almost looks like there is some contouring makeup there, but there isn't. It's pretty neat, actually.

I also noticed that the dead skin on my face is flaking off. My skin is oily. Always has been, so I know it's not dryness. What's underneath is glowing fresh new skin. How nice! :)

Has anyone else noticed this happening with their face at about this time in your journey?

ohh i noticed that my face was becoming more "slim" so to say..obtaining the shape i always wanted! YAY! i guess it's from losting some weight.. but also- if feels like my skin is a lot tighter- maybe it's just my imagination, i don't know.. but i keep having this impression! i'm only 20 so it's not like my skin was Not tight, but it's different somehow

My skin was the first thing I notice change. You figure - it's our biggest organ so it will.

Yes, the face/skin was the first place I noticed the changes, and it does look as though I have used contour makeup! ~ Cathy

She does mention in the book that the facial shape will change. I can't wait to see what other changes are in store for me!

Actually I didn't notice many changes other than my clothes seemed to be fitting better - I still would look in the mirror and see the 'fat girl'. It was my dh that pointed out to me that he could see me in my face again! That was a wonderful tearful moment for me actually!! :D

yup, my face become more angular too. love it! And recently the skin on my body has started crumbling off a little bit for no reason! Weird... I just started taking MSM so maybe I'm just getting new healthy skin super fast. neat!

Nah, I still think my face is round and puffy, it's always been that way, I got big cheeks. I'm only into my third week though so hopefully that'll change later, though I have noticed my face seems really oily lately...I'll wipe the sides of my face with my hands, then my hands come back all shiny and oily, yuck! Haha sorry to sound gross!

I'm still detoxing and having some strange things happen to my face. A dark ring is around my mouth, ah, kinda monkey style. And 28 years ago I had stitches from a dog-bite on my face. After all of these years, the skin has raised these puckered-looking bumps where the stitches were.
I really don't mind this phenomenon. I think the end product will be worth it later.

My face is actually bronzing a little like I am wearing bronzing beads. I'm not a ghostly white anymore and the weird thing is, I haven't been out in the sun because it has rained just about every day. Strange :rolleyes:

I read on this board once that that affect is from the beta carotene we're consuming. We got the raw glow from the inside out!

My face got very oily, but it wasn't an icky oily. Also, I am a compulsive hand washer so the skin on the back of my hands is always dry to the point of being painful, but they haven't been like that in a few days. My elbows are also dry spots for me, they are smooth now too.
