Hi what would you take to a party to impress people who have never even heard of raw?

I'm thinking about taking a raw dessert or some raw nibbles.

Also the person who is setting up the magazine I mentioned in an earlier post is there and I want to wow her with raw food so I get a regular slot. :D

So what recipes do you use when you want people to have that WOW experience?

Thanks :)

I like taking the raw deviled egg "egg-less" spread. I'll locate the recipe and be right back.
With stringless sugar snap peas and carrots, it's yummy. It reminds SAD/CRAP eaters of the insides of deviled egg.

Also, Alissa's Fudge Balls are yum-oh; her nectarine cookies are really good too and nectarines (I'm sure peaches could be substituted) are in season now. Her onion dip is yum-a-licious!!!

I would recommend RawPriestess' brownies with icing. They are great!
Also there are always the delicious cole slaws. MaRaw has some great things on her site: www.therawtable.com

The chocolate pie is GREAT!

It's significantly more effort than the other recipes suggested so far, but I got amazing responses to the peanut butter cups recipe that's floating around here....

One of my coworkers continues to ask for them and I made them literally months ago - and only once! They truly blow people out of the water. (Incidentally, if you have it/can find it, I'd recommend using cacao butter instead of coconut butter so that it doesn't melt as fast.) But trust me, these are amazingly good.

I adore appetizers so I take mock salmon pate piped into either hollowed out cherry tomatoes and maybe sunny pate piped into Belgium endive leaves on a bed of finely shredded red cabbage. Has been a hit at many a potluck.

My recent fav is chocolate pudding--have not done so, but have seen whipped cream recipes floating around--probably would be awsome.

One recipe I do not ever tire of is Alissa's Indian Spinach dip. I make it with a small amt. of ground cashews for richness and pipe it on cucumber rounds as a cracker--soooo good.
