I've been studying and living Raw foods for over 2 1/2 years now and was Certified as a Raw food Chef and teacher last March. I think it is time for me to start teaching others and was thinking of starting out as a personal shopper for those who like eat Raw and perhaps teach how to prepare some staple recipes. My question is what to charge for this kind of service and how I can start this business? I am already a practicing Massage Therapist so I have some clients who would be interested but I just don't know where to start. Anyone have some ideas?

Thanks so much,

Solar

Have you checked on the Raw Teacher Board? I think you may get some additional responses from people who've already done it.

I think there's a couple of ways to go about it; see what they have in their kitchen first; then take them SHOPPING!!! They purchase the food items AND pay for your time. Getting started? Maybe $45/hour to get the word out.

Then again, you may wish to charge what you are charging for your massage work. Your time is as important as your knowledge and vice-versa.

Thanks for responding Revvell. Where is the Raw teacher board?

45$/Hr. Sounds pretty reasonable. I am thinking I need to hang my certificate up in my massage room and make some bus. cards too just to inform the universe (and my clients) that I'm ready.
