Hi y'all, well I've been on a bit of a downer and had a week of non-raw. :(
So I figure the best way to kick my cravings to the floor and ease myself back into it is with some mighty mighty good tasting green smoothies!
Vegan for Life / anyone else - can you give me some fabulous green smoothie recipe ideas to get me back in the raw groove?
Thankyou thankyou thankyou in advance! :D

This thread has a lot of recipes in it. I'd keep 'em simple and gradually go nuts with the greens...

Thanks Lucy - I'll check that thread out. Went and bought some scrummy fruit on the way home from work today so I'm going to try a luverly green smoothie for breakfast tomorrow. :)
Do you have green smoothies for all your meals? Do they keep you full up?
By the way, great before and after pics - well done you ;)

Thanks! Nope, I have my green smoothie for breakfast. Then lately been eating light - 'maters, cukes, not heavy. I'm just not that hungry in the summer months.
However, Douglas in California and Vwinters both eat green smoothies and have had WONDERFUL results.
Bampot, you've inspired me to have my first green smoothie! I'm totally new to raw- just joined the 30 day challenge on August 2nd, and am loving it! So here's my smoothie- just an idea... Sorry about no measurements- I'm Hispanic! Just a handful of this or some of that, all thrown into the blender:
Frozen mango
watercress
banana
water
peeled orange
almonds
organic flax seeds
This stuff tastes gooood!

Go you! Yeh green smoothies are good - they're what got me started on raw originally. I take the same kind of view with measurements - just throw stuff in to the mix, taste and add more if needed! Your recipe sounds nice, might have to try it!

Peaches are good just now, I had a peach and banana one earlier, It really was delish. I have experimented with all sorts of combos, they taste even better with some coconut water in them(young green):)

My two favorite ingredients: mangoes and frozen cherries. You'll learn to love greens when they're accompanies with those sensual fruit!
