Dehydrating question???

Can you dehydrate two distinctly different items without having the flavors combine? I have had corn chips in but they're not quite done yet. I just added eggplant bacon and I'm worried the chips will end up tasting like ick.

Some have reported to...but I don't. I have had onion bread in at the same time as something sweet like cookies or something and they each taste fine.

Whew, thanks! I guess we'll see later today when the chips come out.
I'm trying that bacon recipe for the first time...it has a strange smell so I was a little worried...
