I made THE best smoothie this morning and it tastes so much like the SAD Orange Julius, only TONS better!
Orange juice-about 1 cup
Cantaloupe-1/4 of a whole one
Banana-1 (frozen would be great too)
3 dates
Blend till smooth and enjoy!
This would also be great frozen in Popsicle containers.

Sounds good. I've never had an Orange Julius. Is it an alcoholic drink?

Okay - I answered my own question:
Orange Julius is a fruit smoothie, compiled of frozen orange juice, milk, water, sugar, vanilla, and ice cubes blended together. It has been an intensely popular fruit drink for over seventy years.
Your recipe sounds delish, but why couldn't one use nut mylk, orange juice, water, agave, vanilla and ice cubes?
I'll have to give this a try... sounds GREAT!

I'm sure you could and I'm certain it would be equally delicious! I just happened the use the ingredients listed above and was so surprised at the delicious flavor and its similarity to an Orange Julius.

Both of these recipes sound really good!
I haven't had an Orange Julius for years! I will have to try both of these. Thanks!

I haven't had one for years either, like maybe 25 years! I had another one this morning, oh so good after my workout. My new favorite drink!
