Star Ruby Grapefruit!!!

I bought a bag of grapefruit today, on the bag it says they are Star Ruby grapefruit. Beautiful reddish color. I cut one in half and ate it & then another, and OMG it's SO SWEET - the best grapefruit I've ever eaten. I'll be buying these from now on. :D

I've only ever liked grapefruit with sugar on it, but these sound good! I'll have to keep an eye out. Citrus fruit just disappoints so often, that I don't even glance at it in the store. The only things I'll buy are lemons, limes and the little oranges at Christmas time.

I almost never buy grapefruit either cause I thought they were so sour, but these were such a pretty color, I thought I would try them, and I'm so glad I got them cause they're SWEET. :D

Grapefruits are great in freshly squeezed orange juice. :)

When I lived in Fl we could get these for only a short time and my son and I would sit and eat like a orange. I always hated grapefruit cause it was so tart but these r so delicious. A bag of them did not last me long.

Oh yeah - these are my favs! I peel 'em and eat 'em like an orange. They are very good.
I'll eat a whole one at work and you won't believe how many folks will say, "How can you eat that without sugar?" EEWWW! The thought of putting white death on nature's bounty - UGH! I never did!!!
If you've never eaten one - you should - they are THE best!
