My research into garlic shows that garlic is a natural antibiotic. In fact it is sometimes called "Russian Penicillin" because of its antibiotic properties. My question is this:
I know that drug antibiotics kill off both the friendly and unfriendly bacteria in the gut. Does garlic do this also or because its a natural plant from the garden does it spare the friendly bacteria ?
Any opinions and/or information appreciated.
