Almonds Shelve Life

Does anyone know the shelve life of almonds? I have some from a year ago but they seem to still be good. Does that make sense?

I think all that happens is.................. they just get drier and better. Nuts Freeze well. What happens to Nuts is, the oil becomes Rancid, leaving an Ugly taste. Almonds doesn't have that much oil in them....EAT......EAT...
